Secure Your Success_ Key Policies to Protect Your Research and Navigate PitfallsDownload
Description:
Understanding the university’s research policies has never been more important for researchers. Over the past five years, federal agencies and law enforcement have significantly intensified their oversight of research integrity and security, resulting in unprecedented enforcement actions across universities nationwide. Whether you’re new to research, new to Northeastern University, or a seasoned investigator, this session will ground university policies in a practical context through case-based learning. Participants will examine actual situations where policy knowledge can make a difference. The workshop covers federal regulations, institutional requirements, and emerging security concerns that impact all researchers, regardless of discipline or funding source.
This interactive session includes dedicated time for Q&A, allowing participants to discuss specific scenarios and get expert guidance from research administration professionals. While the session will be recorded, live attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure your questions are addressed in real-time.
This session also qualifies for RCR Training credit.
